Data is knowledge - and knowledge is an advantage. Data-driven decision-making and the possibilities opened up by the application of elaborate algorithms in this field have fascinated Tim Hofer since he started his studies. He completed his Master's degree in strategic communication at the University of Zurich with a focus on statistical data analysis (in particular machine learning) and media psychology. Alongside this he was able to deepen his knowledge in the area of data science as a research assistant working with the Chair of Media Effects Research.
